
Masters of Science (M.S.) Degree in Science Education
Description: The Department of Science Teaching at Syracuse University draws upon the resources of the University’s College of Arts and Sciences and the School of Education to provide excellent pre-service and in-service science teacher preparation and to conduct innovative research in science education. The faculty is devoted to preparing outstanding science teachers at the elementary, secondary, and college levels by supervising students in the field, conducting enrichment programs for teachers and their students What can you do with degree? Graduates of the M.S. programs in science education typically become science teachers at the high school or middle school levels. Others seek careers as curriculum developers, professional development providers, and general science education consultants. Many pursue further graduate studies in science education, educational administration, or both.Requirements/Description:
